Subject: Re: UKNM: When is spam not spam?

The real problem I have with this tag line is that it tells me what to
think.
I find it just as irritating and more objectionable than the actual spam
message itself.
The worst thing about it is that bulk e-mailing has almost destroyed the
opportunity legitimate use of a polite letter/email of introduction to a
*single* prospective client genuinely referred by a mutual acqaintance which
has been an acceptable feature of commerce for centuries.
Spam is on the screen of the beholder.
