in terms of being jolly nice and indeed jolly excellent, you can do no

better than any of the following (based on my dealings with them in my

former life as a tech hack for over five years at Teletext...)


no doubt fellow list members Ben @ isyndicate can offer some pointers to his

PR dealing days at Telegraph and my former colleague Neil Mc who is now at

The Guardian...


and more important from a client point of view, these guys and gals below

also get results and have some pretty impressive portfolios... but check out

the sites (and don't hold it against some of them that their own sites have

sections that have not updated for over a year!!!)



Big Mouths (www.big-mouths.com) - set up by former bods of Text 100 and

Virgin Net. Loads of Net experience and know what they talk about...


Flapjack (www.flapjack.com) - been around for yonks, they know what they

talk about...


Harvard (www.harvard.co.uk) - big agency, traditional-ish, reliable...


Talk Loud (www.talkloud.co.uk) - focused on entertainment/lifestyle but has

dipped toes into new media as well...
