I think the term union is being abused somewhat and sensationalised....
aren't these just natural affiliations to 'help' each other out ? Unions
were all about protecting real injustices.... ie safety at work, the
curtailing of child labour and all that.

The Internet may have had a tough time of late - but I don't think it's
quite on the scale of generations past ! :-)
