It seems to me that defending a workforce against low pay, long hours, and
unreasonable demands by management is exactly the sort of area where unions
can
and should flex their muscles. Organised Labour Uninons provide workers with
solidarity, allowing collective grievances to be aired, and communicated to
management. Just because we're not down a coal mine at 12 years old doesnt
mean
there is no place for a Union. IMHO
