That's a content issue, not a design issue. The designers need not be
literate - as far as text goes, their responsibility is to copy and paste
it accurately and completely into the HTML.
It's the responsibility of whoever is in charge of content to generate,
update and maintain the text. In the case of 'Your about to enter our
secure shopping area. Click here to procede.', it's not as if 'you're' or
'proceed' are particularly difficult words. 'Precede', 'necessary',
'opposing' and 'reminiscent' are difficult words, not 'proceed'.
