how about the Madonna broadcast last night on MSM? showing how it can be

done (shame about the tech gliches tho') 9 million worldwide audience with

open access. Oh for traffic figures like those.....

I was listening to 5-live on Monday morning and they were discussing this

with the head of MSN Promotions (or something like that!) - because it was

all about whether the Internet is the future broadcast medium or whether iTV

etc. will continue to take the lead. There was some interesting points made

and then this MSN type admitted that it was not 9 million visits or visitors

- but 9 million HITS.


I was stunned. They should know better than trying to use the oldest trick

in the book - embarrassing.


It was also amusing to hear that they had a lot of complaints from people

with old computers / slow modems who were annoyed that the pictures from the

concert were grainy! Well I never.
