In my experience, press coverage of the internet and IT in the broadsheets
is often quite amusing. It's always 'off' in a subtle, hard-to-point-at
way, as if the people who write the columns are slightly embarrassed to be
writing about computers, and wish they could write about foreign affairs
instead. It makes you wonder if the rest of the paper is as ill-informed.

Not really marketing, or internet, although it is a bit - it's Christmas
soon, and there's nothing I like better to take away the misery of
loneliness than by reading a book. Is there a decent history of Channel
Four available to buy somewhere? I would have thought that the channel
would have a large-format book about itself, but it doesn't. I was only
five when in launched, so I can't remember a world without it, but it
managed to build an image in a few months, and it had a groovy logo.

Along similar lines, you've all read 'No Logo' - what's it like?
