Technically, lack of knowledge is no defence. However, prompt removal
usually means you'll get anyway it.
Demon insisted it was not responsible for the content carried over its
network, just as BT is not responsible for anything you say on the phone
(slander someone over the phone, and you can't sue BT; libel someone in a
newspaper, you can sue the writer, paper, and printer etc). The judge
disagreed.
