Subject: UKNM: RE: UKNM Digest V1 #351 - gameplay's promotion

In response to Emma's note from Yalplay yesterday, Gameplay's promotion
offering Tomb Raider IV for only 1 proved immensely popular
(www.gameplay.com <http://www.gameplay.com> ) - with 81,000 people
registering for the offer.

The promotion was meant to last only one hour and was extended by to cater
for people who could not get to the offer due to the overload of visitors to
the site. Gameplay has apologised to anyone that could not get on the site
during the promotion yesterday afternoon, but the lucky ones who did will be
getting their bargain games within the next few days.

This promotion was just the start of Gameplay's January sale - more offers
and events will take place throughout the month and gameplay's staff have
learnt from this 'first' experience and will do everything they can to offer
customers the best deals for computer games.

But, apologies again if it caused anyone out there problems! Normal service
has resumed if you want to find out anything about games - playing,
reviewing, chatting or buying them!... www.gameplay.com
