Forgive me joining you all but you are both right. Sometimes one person CAN
come up with the solution themselves but quite often it takes different
people to bounce off each other to truly reach an innovative solution or
creative idea.

P.S I took the z off - they always send me to sleep!

In my experience, far from producing mediocre ideas, ten mediocre people
working in a team with the right approach can produce far more meaningful

I disagree Ray (for a change!). I think people with genuine Creative and
Applicable Business Ideas are very hard to come by. IMHO part of the problem
with the dot-com boom was that people weren't creative enough. All they were
doing was rushing to fill in the gaps ....

"anyone selling floor varnish online?"
"no"
"Quick, knock up a business plan. There must be someone dumb enough to
invest in it!"

"anyone selling tictacs online?"
etc.

Perhaps they would have done better thinking beyond taking what they know of
the world online and consider what could be delivered online for the work.

Teams are great for implementing ideas, not creating them.

(Did anyone notice that I used a 'z' in 'ideaz' to make it see all 'New
