Well I for one will distance myself from any such "consistency."

Why?

The internet biz in general has no consistent PR output (see my comments in
thread "Crackdown on adoption"). So somebody is making a programme that
_might_ be anti-net? What does everyone say they want to do?? Refuse to have
any input??? So what will that do to the balance of the programme????*!

Are you really being serious? Does the some total of all the smart thinking
from UKNM really add up to nothing more than thrusting the collective head
in the sand and hoping that dotcom woe will go away all of its own accord?

Grow up, people! This is the big, bad, nasty world. If you don't like what
the media says about you, then tell them a better story.

I repeat. When it comes to bad press, this industry deserves everything it
gets. Just like the Labour Party. For pity's sake, quit patting each other
on the back and get on and do something.

I have so far accumulated a net fighting fund of 1.00. Any PR firm want to
take on the contract to restore credibility to the industry? Anyone else
want to make any further donations before it's too late and we all get shut
down for good?
