If only that were true. My own experience of goto.com is that companies
with big bucks are being awarded search terms that they can offer only one
page of content against. They are also being allowed to have the click-thru
lead the visitor to their home page rather than to the correct and relevant
destination.
Cash-poor niche sites (like mine) end up further down in the results,
despite arguably offering more detailed and relevant content.
It therefore doesn't follow that visitors gets high quality results from
this system.
