www.netnames.co.uk has a reasonably good service for this.  Last time

I looked at it, some of their pages were missing so I couldn't find

out how much they charge - but they have comprehensive packages which

cover "the danger list" of countries which let you register a name

without having a local office.  I think they can also help with

getting a local presence (e.g. a PO Box) in the countries which

require that.  Their all-country search only takes a minute or two and

is an impressive report to provide to your client, especially if you

edit the HTML to replace Netnames' branding with yours.  Not that I've

ever done that, of course, and I'd have to advise that you don't

either...


I'd like to say that we can do this, but unfortunately we can't -

although our prices on .com, .net, .org, .co.uk, .org.uk and .uk.com

are better than theirs.
