It was reported yesterday that a Philips spokesman said the announcement
also took them by surprise, and that that they were examining ways of
gearing up to meet the anticipated demand......

Following all the press furore about Sky/OnDigital giving everything

(with strings, naturally), and the torrent of online stories about

found it particularly amusing that their website makes no mention of
it.
