Here, here. I firmly believe if the UK wants to move forward and be a
leader when it comes to the Internet, it needs to be made much less
expensive for people to use it. I still shake my head that the "free"
access companies are doing so well -- who cares about a 8 pound
subscription fee in comparison to a 100+ pound per month phone bill
(and I wish mine was even that low). I think BT is making the country
less competitive in this arena by refusing to act more quickly to get
call rates down.

I've always wanted to put up a site on the topic, but time doesn't
allow. But I'll happily contribute the tag line I had in mind to anyone's
effort: "Free me, BT!"
