I'm gutted to have come in on the end of such a vitriolic exchange, but as

they say, 'devil take the hindmost'.


What rankled slightly with me when yon man in dress had a pop at the .com

culture (EVERYBODY should have a pop - 70% of it desserves it) was the

profit figures released by the church recently (the figure I remember was

700m ukp, but net or gross, I dunno).


The analysis I read suggested that the whopping profit was related to

shrewd investment in .coms over the last couple of years - just like the

queen (who also plays a mean VC hand, and is the ArchB's boss).


So, judge not lest ye have consulted the investment wing of your church is

the moral of the day for me. Better get back to some laying of hands on my

keyboard...
