Prudential's decision to review the timing of its float is nothing more
than, well, prudent.

The stock markets are taking a hammering. Tech stocks are taking an even
more painful hammering. What's the hurry? Every now and then you have to
stop planting and take time to pull out the weeds.

The stock markets will at some point recover, technology stock will recover
and regain its prominent position.

The problem was largely caused by too much getrichquickism. Take a
longer-term view and there is no reason for undue concern.
