UKNM: calculate with db field

I have retrieved a value from a coldfusion template.


I've sent it back to flash as &ID=#ID#


When I create a textfield in flash called ID, it perfectly shows the value which ID should be.

But I can't calculate with the field ID.

Let's say ID=ID+1 gives ID+1 not 2(if ID would be 1). Guess Flash doesn't see it as a number...


Any tips?
