You should try one step up the chain amongst the ISPs - competitors
(no, I won't name names) think absolutely nothing of lying and
generally being unprofessional. Rise above it and prove them wrong,
that way you have shitloads more credibility than they do.

Well, since its been happening amongst ISPs for at least 2 years,
I'd expect as much but I find that being completely honest and
dealing only in facts rather than opinion and conjecture usually
results in our winning/keeping the business. After all, telling a
prospective punter that he's bought a pile of steaming poo isn't
exactly going to endear you to him, is it ?
