Search engines are a useful tool for promoting a web site. They are one of
the primary ways that consumers find web sites. So, you should always
consider search engines when designing a site.

However, too many companies obsess over rankings. They spend too much time
optimising their sites - not a good ROI.

Use this promotional tool, along with others (advertising, recip links
etc.) - Get a good balance.
