Hehe. I'd agree that this is a rather poorly camouflaged attempt at
checking live email accounts while managing to break the the 1998 Data
Protection Act twice in quick succession.

The fact that several people I've spoken to about this have also received
both emails only demonstrates that it's been sent out to anyone on the
distribution list who got so bored with the godawful content on their site
that they turned their back on it.

I'm putting together an article on this - please feel free to respond
off-list if you'd like to add your tuppence worth.
