UKNM: (Please Help) A European naming convention

Hi all,


In recent discussions with a Client, the subject of domain names has come up

several times.  They are trying to come up with a European naming

convention.  So far the main problem is deciding between using

www.brand.company.xx or www.company.xx/brand.


Does anyone know of any research on the different methods and the consumers

preference/response to each?
