I entirely share your views on the benefit of advertising on 'niche
innovative sites', and also of the benefit of enabling niche sites to
advertise on the internet. I can assure you that there are companies dealing
with this - we are about to launch such a service in a couple of weeks. I
can't tell you more for fear of spamming, but you can contact us if you
wish.

Does anyone know of or could share their experiences of agencies which
specialise in selling advertising/sponsorship for these 'niche innovative
sites', particularly within the youth culture/lifestyle sector?
Although the industry rags seem to suggest a growing trend whereby ad
revenue will be diverted from the portals to the niche vertical sites, I've
yet to actually see much evidence of this from the likes of
the big ad sales houses.
Across our 'network' we have a modest 6 million page impressions and 100,000
registered users - does anybody feel they could rise to the challenge?
