Well, being one of the fools who bought a WAP phone on Vodafone, I don`t
actually have the option of checking out every WAP site thanks to their
walled garden system. However, there are still a few gems available
including The Hitchhikers Guide which has made many a long train journey fly
by and the pretty nifty Guardian Unlimited site.
BBC News makes me laugh though with its tiny summaries that leave you
longing for more. Surely a few more words wouldn`t kill? Pleeeeaaasse?
Actually, come to think of it, those are about the only WAP sites I`ve spent
any real time on, except for picking up emails etc.
I know it's not exactly (or even remotely) a WAP service but I have just
ordered a CD via text message from Scan (www.scan.com). To be honest I
wasn`t expecting the service to work but my order arrived in 3 days - and
they even called me to confirm the order -which kind of defeated the object
but it was a nice touch!
Just my rambling mobile experiences...
