Last night's TGP was possibly the biggest let down so far as I went to the
recording of that particular show (and last week's) and came back raving
about how great it was. The atmosphere in the studio was amazing and the
cast really played up to it (probably because a large part of the audience
seemed to be made up of friends and family) with Al doing most of the warm
up himself. It appears that a lot of the show's energy was lost in the
editing as to me the whole thing came across as flat and slightly miss timed
on screen. Was that really our laughter track? I remember a lot more oooohs
on the Diana comments and even a smattering of applause and whistles when
"Matey" from Eastenders came in - sorry to be so vague. Still what would I
know, I only fork out 20 quid a month for Sky. Licence fee? pahh you've got
nothing to complain about.
