Anyway, I wonder boo, sorry, who, gave them all the cliches in the first
place?

But it is clearly not as bad as it could have been, and is strangely
compelling. I think it would be more realistic if there was an X-files type
timeline at the bottom as we're clearly talking 10-12 months ago in terms of
the attitudes of the investors (e.g. the revenue model hasn't really been
thought through but the investors seem impressed by a few technical words.)

I would love to hear the opinions from any people who are in, or have been
in, a similar situation, such as small dot-coms that are totally reliant on
getting a second round of funding in the future to survive until the revenue
model actually stands a chance of working.

But in any case, lighten up Ian you miserable bugger ;o]
