I used to use the free service at did-it.com. I think it's free for a few
months. You input your keywords, it will report by email for free to you
each month on your site's ranking in ten search engines.

It's American, so it's the US search engines - but it's worthwhile if your
site is being submitted to these as it gives accurate results.

It's called the Did-it.com detective, at http://www.did-it.com

Subject: UKNM: UKNM software to monitor search engine indexing

I use a company to optimise my websites for search engines and each
month they send me a listing of how my sites are doing, what position
they reach etc. I would like to be able to test this out for my self.
Can anybody recommend some software which will search for my keywords
and let me know what position my site is?

Best Regards
