Jenny,

WhatWhyWhere www.whatwhywhere.com will do this for you and you
don't have to install any software. Its running a free trial at
the moment where you can use five search terms. You can extend
this to meet your requirements and it services UK and US search
engines.

Its really simple and easy to use and it generates a weekly
report automatically for you.

Subject: UKNM: UKNM software to monitor search engine indexing

I use a company to optimise my websites for search engines and
each
month they send me a listing of how my sites are doing, what
position
they reach etc. I would like to be able to test this out for my
self.
Can anybody recommend some software which will search for my
keywords
and let me know what position my site is?

Best Regards
