I am looking into the viability of "banner advertising" within
(Internet-enabled) software.

Any recommendations of organisation who could:
a) proactively sell such space
b) deliver, monitor, etc. the adverts

I am familiar with Radiate and Conducent but would be interested in other
alternatives.

Anyone based in the UK? This is currently where the primary target audience
for the software is.

Anyone with a less controversial reputation?

Obviously the companies above both provide code to integrate into your
application, but I would also be interested in organisations who don't - and
expect your software to behave more like a web browser to collect the ads.
