>From our dealings, Yahoo expects you to pay up front, Lycos have a minimum
order of 1000, Alta Vista has a minimum order of 1500 (paid up front or on
account after credit check).
UK Plus invoice you after the fact
Excite invoice after the fact
UK Directory demand payment up front (but I wouldnt recommend them)
Goto (pay per click) want payment up front
Splut (pay per click) have payment up front but give you 50 free credit
Last time I bought for a client from Yahoo, minimum was 2k, but that was
over a year ago

Quick Q. If I buy key word specific banner ads on the likes of Yahoo UK,
Excite, Lycos etc. when do they expect you to pay for them? Do you pay up
front or will they invoice you say with 30 days to pay?
Also what's a typical minimum purchase level for these companies?
Thanks
Jim
