yes I agree on the point that the tld is not what is was created for but
atleast they are showing some creative flair and sound commercial accumen!
(take an opportunity and maximise it)

But some of the TLD's such as .ws (world site???) and .hm (home!) really are
scrapping the barrel...

I remember there was a company offering .uk.co as an alternative to a
.co.uk!

But i dread to think what will happen when people start getting offered the
.bo domains...

OK, I reconsider my words: .tv isn't a con, but it is no-more or less
exciting and different from .cc, .cx, .nu and all those other TLDs that
are
assigned to random chunks of land, and not used for
geographically-defining
purposes.
