We use Goldmine 4.0 which has e-mail merging capability. It is a very good
method of keeping tabs on companies with several contacts, although I don't
think it handles each individual in that company record particularly well.
Its reporting capabilities are extremely powerful as it has Crystal Reports
built in. This enables you to report on your data in many different ways,
including forecasting sales according to month or user.

It also has the capability to synchronise data records from remote users via
e-mail/modem connection as well as work over a standard network.

I have also used Maximizer in the past and that is a very impressive package
too. This handles the individuals within organisations much better than
Goldmine, but the reporting capabilities are rudamentry. You can export data
to Crytal Reports - although I haven't done this.
