I don't want to comment on specific companies here because I work for the
company that owns I/PRO. Also, I haven't been following the thread in great
detail but I would like to ask two questions:

1) Why does satisfying shareholders mean a worse service than a
non-profit-making company? Isn't the best way to satisfy your shareholders
by delivering a top-quality, reliable service?

2) Can't anybody, anywhere in the world, with the right software perform log
analysis? If the apprioraite industry standards exist then surely your
choice of log analysis provider comes down to old fashioned things like
service and not down to being the only provider in the market.
