as someone who uses google on a daily basis, it is working fine, but the
google.com and google.co.uk address. as Sam suggests it could be your
connection, maybe the IP address is barred by your ISP????

Google seems to have been down for days - a fact apparently unreported by
news sources. How can this be?? Am I missing something?

[Sam says: I think it must be your connection, I just tried it 10 secs ago
and it's working fine. Been using it for research a lot over the last few
days with no problems.]
