The more you cut down the less the loggers will.


Christmas is a busy period and it can be hard to find room for charity.

However, if you make just one small substitution you can save yourself some time, show compassion and provide real essentials to forest communities in central Africa and the Peruvian Amazon– shelter, food and water.

All of the items on our non-essential shopping list originate from forests and their annual, global consumption equates to over half a million trees! Since they all end up in the bin, we are asking your company to cut down this year so the loggers don’t have to.

For every non-essential item you cut down you can help ensure forests continue to provide the essential items that forest communities rely on to survive.

To make it easier on your clients, staff and contacts we will send you an image you can email or post on social networks instead of paper cards.

Celebrating in the forests

The forest provides everything a community needs. Food, decorations, costumes and of course a place for cultural activities such as celebratory dancing, singing and traditional rituals. But without your support their forest home is not their own. With land grabbing, logging, palm oil plantations and mining it is not uncommon for children and their families to wake up by the side of a road that cuts through what was their home, threatening their way of life.


Please take a minute to cut down a little of your paper and make a festive gift that will outlast anything else you give or receive this December.
