Nikki Barton is the Creative Director responsible for the ground breaking design of Internet Explorer 5 for the Mac, Tate website and Malcolm McLarens' Casino of Authenticity & Karaoke art installation. She is regarded as one of the leading experience designers in digital media in the UK and has over 18 years experience across a wide range of platforms worldwide.
In 1989 she was involved in some of the first interactive projects in the UK and with colleagues began to develop the early visual language of 'Multimedia' - an industry in its infancy. In 1997 she founded digital agency Nykris, which won many awards for its creative excellence and technological expertise.
In 2007 she is (amongst other things) working on an a social, open, web environment and is still excited by digital media.
