With over 12 years’ experience in the digital industry, working with major global brands such as American Express, MTV and Universal, Dan Mortimer has extensive knowledge of the online space which enables him to think creatively and challenge briefs to get the best digital solutions for clients. He has a reputation for giving expert advice on what clients actually need, based on evaluating their overall strategy and aims, as opposed to short-term tactics.
His passion is strategy and showing how digital can open new opportunities for clients. He works closely with the in-house team of social, mobile, web and video experts at Red Ant to develop ideas that push brands for maximum exposure and return through digital communication and engagement.
Dan established Red Ant in 1999, and hit the ground running by developing groundbreaking new systems and sites for Cisco, Warwick University and Huntress, among others. Since then, Dan has used his hands-on experience of design, development and disruptive technology to grow the company into the international, award-winning business it is today. With offices in the UK, China, Brazil, the Republic of Ireland and Switzerland, Red Ant has a global reputation for thought leadership and digital excellence, driven by Dan’s commitment to developing digital strategies which enable clients to listen to customers, talk to potential clients, engage with relevant audiences and increase revenue opportunities at every stage.
Dan has co-authored a series of major white papers which have attracted worldwide interest, including ‘Planning and Managing a Digital Strategy’ and ‘Going Mobile - a How-to Guide’.
