Description

Get yourself a ticket for the biggest party the unfashionable end of the galaxy has ever seen. Join Clive Anderson, the original cast and surprise guests, in celebration of 30 years of the late, great Douglas Adams’s classic British comedy. This will be your first chance to experience the new Hitchhiker’s novel And Another Thing… by Eoin Colfer.

PHOTOCALL
Start the day at the largest-ever photocall of Hitchhiker’s fans. Wear your dressing gown and bring along a towel. Surprise gifts for the first 150 fans who arrive in their dressing gown.

Session One: THE DOUGLAS ADAMS CHAT SHOW
Clive Anderson hosts a panel of Hitchhiker’s experts and friends of Douglas Adams who discuss the great man and his work.

Session Two: ‘AND ANOTHER THING...’
Eoin Colfer, bestselling author of ArtemisFowl, gives an exclusive reading from his
new Hitchhiker’s novel And Another Thing... – the sixth book in the series. Introduced
by Ireland’s multi-platinum selling band The Blizzards, playing their single inspired
by the book.

Session Three: HITCHHIKERS LIVE ON STAGE!
Actor Simon Jones (the original Arthur Dent), Andrew Sachs, Harry Shearer and other members of the original cast re-create classic moments from the saga live on stage in this new adaption by Dirk Maggs.

BOOK SIGNINGS
Mega-signing of the fantastic new editions of the first five Hitchhiker’s novels, and buy And Another Thing... a day before everyone else and get it signed by Eoin Colfer.
