Description

With around 100,000 apps and over 2 billion downloads for the iPhone alone, app usage has exploded and is growing rapidly every day.

Many experts are predicting the trend to continue in 2010 with the introduction of more Android handsets, and the iPhone now being on sale across the Orange and Vodafone networks.

From the Carling iPint to the Barclaycard Waterslide app, branded apps are also becoming increasingly important. But with still a relatively limited percentage of people using apps, is it more important to build an app with richer content or to build a site that can be accessed by all?

Our debate will bring together a panel of mobile experts to debate the proposition mobile apps are more important than mobile sites, you get to vote who is right.
