Description

New UK consumer research sheds new light on the issue of digital exclusion. Those that benefit most from access to IT (and consequently lose out more when this is denied) are the socially excluded, in particular women with fewer educational qualifications and on lower incomes.

BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT will be releasing these findings in a report

Information Dividend Report: Why IT makes you ‘happier’? at an event on 21 September. The report’s findings demonstrate the empowering and positive impacts of IT on society and certain groups in particular.
