Description
One of the biggest pitfalls in small start-up businesses is the lack of capital and investment. While lots of web sites, such as TechCrunch, report on the success stories of those who raised investment, strategies for successful fundraising remain unclear.
In this workshop, we hope to help you discover appropriate ways of fundraising for your company, such as: when and when not to go to a venture capitalist; methods for designing a fundraising strategy, and common issues to watch out for (i.e. understanding a termsheet, different classes of shares).
