Description

For the fourth year in a row the ICT KTN, working in association with UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), Cambridge Wireless and Mobile Monday London is pleased to invite you to the Mobile World Congress 2012 Competition finals events.

Registration and attendance for the event final will be free, and will be open to all members of Mobile Monday, Cambridge Wireless and the ICT KTN on a first come first served basis. This will provide an excellent opportunity for the short-listed companies to draw their products to the attention to a wider audience. A panel of judges will select up to four companies from those presenting at the finals to each be the recipient of a free place to showcase its product on the UKTI Stand at the 2012 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

On offer are free places for SMEs to showcase a solution or product on the UKTI stand, located in a prominent position in the main avenue (Avendia, AV26), which is on route to all the main areas of the exhibition and conference at Mobile World Congress, Barcelona from 27th February to the 1st March 2012. Each winner will be provided with stand branding, listing in the UK event directory and three complementary exhibition passes. In addition to the space and free passes on the UKTI stand, the winners will also receive assistance with press and media activity to maximise coverage and company proposition. This will include a free press release organised by Neon Drum for the winners. In addition, prior to going to Barcelona, a workshop will be organised; “Getting the most from the media at MWC 2012”.

2012 will be a significant year for the UK in terms of major sporting events. With this in mind the judges will be particularly interested in applications related to Mobile ICT technology and applications for Sport, eHealth and to address high capacity Mobile ICT challenges for staging major events. This is the chance for innovative SMES to show high technology product and solutions to the more than 60,000 key industry decision makers that are expected to attend MWC in 2012.
