The UKTI/2Pears pitch workshops are FREE to attend for Technology/Digital/Mobile/ICT Sector startups & small/medium sized businesses that are UK based. NEW for this year is that the pitch workshops are now also open to European based startups and SMEs looking to set up a UK office within the next 6 months - and it is free for them as well! Participating companies will also have the opportunity to apply to pitch to an expert panel of judges and an audience of investors, journalists and entrepreneurs at a forthcoming techpitch 4.5 event. Topics covered during the workshop include: -How to put the pitch presentation together and what to include -Guidance and feedback on delivery skills -Overcoming nerves -How to maximise networking opportunities at the event Julie Collins from Collins & Collins will facilitate the workshop and has worked with many different companies across different sectors - including IT, Creative industries and Environmental goods and services - to prepare pitches to international companies and BBC production companies for example.
