Description
At this month's event we'll be joined by Danvers Baillieu, COO of Privax, the company behind the leading IP Proxy and VPN service, Hidemyass.com. He joined Privax in April 2012 after 11 years as a lawyer working for both UK and US firms in the City of London. In 2008, Danvers co-founded Bootlaw, a free monthly meetup for entrepreneurs and tech companies, which under his leadership grew to over 1000 members and became one of the best known service provider brands on the London start up tech scene.
Drawing on his extensive experience within the legal industry and running a digital business, Danvers will be discussing the challenges that many of us face when operating in the fast-changing digital landscape.
Student retail incubator, Studio will be hosting the event at its premises at the University of Surrey. Studio is a place where students can test out their business ideas in a real retail environment and is the first permanent space of its kind in the UK.
