Testing In Scrum with Markus Gärtner
Event Info
Description
When: Thursday 21st of March 2013
Location: Brighton, UK
Presented by: Markus Gärtner
Overview Testers new in Scrum projects might find themselves lost between their traditional role understanding and the new frontiers. All those traditional testing practices do not fit into a sprint of two weeks length. In this one-day course you will get to know the basics that you need to test in short iterations.
This course helps you:
- understand your role in scrum and support your team
- gain a shared understanding of the software that you are helping to build
- develop the right software
- and help reduce risks of hard to automate features.
You will learn about Scrum, your role as a tester on a Scrum project, and how to support your team at delivering business value. You will learn about automated acceptance-tests, acceptance test-driven development, and exploratory testing. Both approaches help you develop fast tests, and cope with the risks for the cases where automation does not help.
