IC tomorrow is hosting a speed-networking event that will offer innovative digital start-ups the opportunity to meet leading magazine and book publishers. The event will take place on Monday 25 November at 6.30pm at The Hospital Club in London, and will focus on connecting leading commercial partners in publishing with talented digital innovators, within a ‘speed dating' style format. This is an opportunity for start-ups and SMEs to gain valuable exposure for their business by meeting and speed pitching to noteworthy individuals from companies including Random House, Macmillan, Constable & Robinson, Hearst Magazines, HarperCollins and Future Publishing. It is not necessary to be currently active in the publishing sector. Whether you have expertise in social media, games, app development or otherwise; we are looking for companies that can contribute new technologies, platforms, services, business models or approaches to shape the future of the industry. Interested start-ups are required to fill out a short online application form by 12pm on Wednesday 6 November, outlining why their business is relevant to the publishing industry. Fifteen companies will be selected to attend the event.
