Cass Christmas Angels pitching comp + Christmas drinks
Event Info
Description
As the countdown to the festive season draws closer, Cass Entrepreneurs Network (CEN) has hired some Christmas Angels to help entrepreneurs at their annual pitching competition.
This is the second year that CEN, Cass Business School and City University London’s alumni network for entrepreneurs, has run the Dragon’s Den style competition.
This year’s Angels will be from the Cass Entrepreneurship Fund, Mustard Seed, and Saatchinvest.
The Angels have up to £100,000 to invest in the start-ups who will pitch their business ideas to them on Tuesday 2nd December. They are happy to watch pitches from businesses at any stage of development and are particularly interested in those from the social, advertising, tech and B2B sectors.
Parveen Dhanda, President of CEN, said: “CEN plays an important role in helping entrepreneurs, particularly alumni from Cass and City, with both advice and access to funding. This pitching competition will do both because even if companies are at an early stage, our Angels will provide feedback on their pitch to help them in future..”
Crowdsurfer, a successful worldwide search and analytics service for crowdfunding and peer-to-peer finance, won investment from the Angels at last year’s event.
Companies wishing to enter the competition have until the [21st November 2014] to upload their introductory video. The top 15 entries selected to take part in the Christmas Angels pitching competition will be announced on 24th November.
