Networking is a key activity for the success of your start-up. Networking is an investement for the future, and as a start-up, you should focus on building networks that provide access to resources and new opportunities. A recent article in The Economist highlighted that in order to be a successful networker, an entrepreneur should have something to say, be open minded to the topic people discuss, and work hard at networking.
However, given the very competitive environment and the number of players in the market, many people waste time when meeting new people and making new business connections. In this first session of the term, you will learn how to meet the right people in the right way, how to prepare, and how to follow up, to build a healthy business relationship.
