Business Model Zoo By Prof Charles Baden-Fuller (Cass Business School)
Entrepreneurs and managers need to articulate their business model to their investors, suppliers, channels and partners – yet most cannot do this effectively. They often confuse the product or service description with the business model, they are not the same. And they fail to identify precisely who is the customer, how is the customer engaged, how is value delivered and critically how is value monetized.
This session will focus on helping you as owner or manager of a start-up or young firm, explaining what is your business model, how to identify and explain your business model in simple terms. And we also give you a library of exemplars that you can use to explain more vividly your proposition.

Charles Baden-Fuller is professor of Strategy at Cass Business School. Charles is famous for his work on Business Models. He is engaged, with Dr Alessandro Giudici and Dr Paolo Aversa, in a major EPSRC project on “Building Better Business Models”. He has also been the director or advisor of several high-tech start-ups all over Europe, and he is in the advisory panel of Tech City Future-Fifty.
