cripes, seems i missed something! can i get an addy on that massive attack
page?
(if its not their official one)
anyway, it seems sound limits flash sometimes; if you have
a song, for example, streaming, generally it needs to be in the 22khz area
to not sound
bad. ive found it best not to compress sounds outside of flash, to bring
them in at 44 or 48
if possible and go with it, because it seems flash messes with it anyway.
i suppose you
just have to use music with flash strategically, as one of the important
things is speed;
once you get past 20 seconds or so people will go somewhere else. as cool
as having
a soundtrack with flash movies, the sound quality and the streaming issue
both limit that.
however, if someone knows a way to compress sound down outside of flash and
have it
not sound bad, id like to know about it.
